Powrtouch Single Model 1 (single axle)

The POWRTOUCH Standard Single Axle mover fits the large majority of UK built caravans. Under ideal conditions it is expected that this model moves a 1200 kgs (approx 1.2UK tons) caravan up a 1 in 4 slope. Price is for a standard fit to steel chassis caravans, aluminium chassis may require a special fit.

Powrtouch Single Heavy Duty Model 3 (single axle)

The Model 3 is designed to fit caravans that have shock absorbers fitted or have a narrow gap (less than 105mm (4.125ins)) between the chassis and the tyre, but fitted with a reduction gearbox to provide more moving power to the caravan wheels. Under ideal conditions it is expected that this model will move a 1500 kgs (approx 1.5UK tons) caravan up a 1 in 4 slope.

The standard twin axle caravan mover we supply that drives two wheels only! This model of Powrtouch is the only one recommended to be fitted behind the rear wheels; the reason for this is to obtain the best possible turning performance that is achieved by slightly lifting the jockey wheel it is expected that the caravan will turn quicker. Powrtouch All Wheel Drive Twin Model 6 (double axle)

The all wheel drive twin axle caravan mover (Developed from the Powrlaunch) drives all four wheels of the caravan; this model is required where the twin axle caravan may be used on a steep slope, turning uphill or on uneven ground(where the drive wheels may lift off the ground).Fits the vast majority of all twin axle caravans. 5 year Guarantee!

Powractuator

The drive rollers can be positioned on or off the tyres by a simple press of a switch.
The Powractuator is a 12volt linear actuator that replaces the over-lock CAM system for engaging and disengaging the rollers to the tyres. As some existing parts are removed the new Powractuator does not add any weight to the existing Powrtouch Mover.

Should you have a battery failure when the rollers are located on the tyre they can be removed by turning a small shaft by hand (9mm Hex) or with a battery operated tool (not supplied).

The unit takes about 2-3 weeks to deliver and within 2-days of you receiving the unit one of our fitters will contact you to arrange a fitting time which is convenient to you. The network of qualified professional fitters covers the whole of UK and remember fitting is included in the price. The Powrtouch Caravan Mover weighs about 37kg.

A minimum 85A leisure battery is recommended.

If you should have limited access to one side of your van then it would be good idea to purchase the Powrbar as this allows you the option of engaging and disengaging the rollers for both sides of the van accessing just oneside.

If you shold but a new van then can be simply fitted to your new van though for power reasons a single axle cannot be fitted to a double axle caravan and vice versa and in some occasions different plates maybe required according to the chassis type.

Powertouch rollers don’t cause any further wear and tear on your wheels.

Wheel clamps can still be used depending on the model. The caravam mover’s roller is set about 0.2cm from the centre line of the tyre. Therefore we can safely say that the Powrtouch Caravan Mover can be used in conjuction with the Milenco Rise and Clamp, SAS, Bulldog QD and the Pyramid Chock Wheel Clamp.
