A combined mains 240V AC and 12V DC distribution unit especially designed for caravan and motorhome installations.

The PMS4 Series of power units provide a cost effective solution to all the power distribution requirements within a touring caravan or motorhome. The mains protection is provided in two ways: i) An RCD provides earth leakage protection ii) A bank of MCB’s provides overcurrent protection. The 12 volt protection is provided by a bank of automotive blade type fuses.

Additionally the units provide a transformer capable of charging a leisure type battery. Use of the latest switched-mode technology ensures the system is lightweight and has a wide input voltage range. Also the unit is electronically protected for short circuits, overcurrent and reverse polarity. Connections to the unit for all output circuits are via a plug & socket arrangement to decrease installation time and illiminate the possibility of wiring errors. Mains protection devices are enclosed by a neat bezel which can be provided with an optional smoked cover.
